The Velocity (or Speed) Graph in Cinema‏‏‎_4D

So you use and love the Speed Graph in After Effects to fine tune key frames, did you know that Cinema 4D has a Speed Graph as well?

It’s called the Velocity Graph, and it’s a little buried. First, go to the Timeline Window and switch to F-Curve Mode. Then go to the F-Curve menu and choose Show Velocity

Here’s the biggest difference between the Velocity Graph in C4D versus After Effects: the Velocity Graph in Cinema is not directly editable. To see it change you have to change the bezier handles and values in the Value Graph.  This makes changing it more unintuitive if you already know how you want your Speed (er, Velocity, I’m still getting used to that) Graph to look to get the effect you want.

Nevertheless, this is a great instance where your knowledge from After Effects easily translates over to Cinema 4D (I love when that happens).
